Disney Hallmark Ornaments

Disney Hallmark Ornaments Series Page

The Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments Club Event will be held in Kansas City this weekend. People attend this for many reasons. Some like to get an item from their collection signed by a Hallmark artist. Others go to collect the special ornaments available only at the event, while still others go to meet other collectors or renew acquaintances with old friends. The event this year is titled “Hangin’ With Your Buddies”.

A prominent part of the Hallmark Ornament Collection for many years now have been items related to Disney movies and characters. The first Disney figural ornaments were made in 1994 to celebrate The Lion King. Some early Disney pieces were also made as early as 1977 in glass or satin balls. Pocahontas followed in 1995 with ornaments made for The Hunchback of Notre Dame in 1996. Then in 1997, Hallmark created over 15 Disney pieces including the beginning of three series.

Many of the first Disney Hallmark pieces had large production runs and can still be found easily today. It took a few years for the popularity of these pieces to catch on but once they did, many of the pieces are popular with collectors and are hard to find. Hallmark Ornaments have hit almost all of the well known kid favorite classic movies such as Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Bambi, 101 Dalmations, and Snow White. They have also included more recent hits such as Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast and Toy Story.

Walt Disney’s beloved Mickey Mouse is also a featured character in most years lines. He has been found shopping with Minnie, kissing Minnie under the mistletoe, and finding the perfect tree with his loyal dog Pluto. The famous Disney princesses are ever popular with little and big girls as well. Many of the ornaments have featured Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel, Ariel and Cinderella, as well as Tinker Bell. Shop The Ornament Shop for all you Hallmark Christmas Ornaments.
