2002 Ford Mustang Hallmark Ornament

Father’s Day is Sunday 06/16/13 and one of the most popular Hallmark Ornament series for our men collectors is the Classic American Car series. This series began in 1991 with a 1957 Chevrolet Corvette in red and white and has been followed by other corvettes in the series such as the 1963 which was made by Hallmark in 2003. You can look for other corvettes in 1997, 1998 and 2011 when Hallmark issued a 100th Anniversary Corvette.

The Ford Mustang is also a popular choice and first appeared in the Hallmark series in 1992 as a 1966 white Mustang convertible. A blue Mach 1 Mustang was the Classic Car in 2002 and the Mustang GT was done by Hallmark in 2011 and also 2009 as a special 45th Anniversary edition. Hallmark will revisit the Mustang again this year which a Ford Mustang Boss 302 which is available in December.

While the Corvette and Mustang have been popular, Hallmark has included several other favorites in the Classic Car series as well. They include the Thunderbird, Camaro, GTO, Hemi-Cuda, Chevelle, Firebird and several others.

Hallmark added several additional cars along the way since 1991 to complement the series, including the 1958 Ford Edsel which was available to the Hallmark Collector’s Club back in 1995. Another popular addition was the 1949 Cadillac Coupe Deville which was produced in 1999.
